Hello Reader! I hope you've had an enjoyable weekend. I was reviewing some synastry charts this week and noticed a pattern that sparked my thinking about what these planetary overlays can (and definitely cannot) tell us about relationships. There's such a common misconception that synastry can predict if a couple will "make it" – but that's not really what this tool is designed for. Instead, I find synastry most valuable as a map of our emotional blind spots and interaction patterns. Let me share some thoughts on how I approach this aspect of relationship astrology. 3 Ideas from MeSynastry reveals dynamics, not destiny. When I look at how two charts interact, I'm seeing the unique landscape of challenges and harmonies two people navigate together. The longevity of a relationship has far more to do with each person's consciousness, self-awareness, and willingness to grow than it does with whether their Venuses square each other. The most revealing aspects often aren't the "easy" ones. I've noticed that the most growth-oriented relationships feature challenging aspects between personal planets. When I see Moon-Saturn contacts or Venus-Pluto dynamics, instead of thinking "trouble,” I think "opportunity for profound emotional development" if both parties are willing to do the work. Pay attention to Saturn connections. Recently, I was analyzing a chart where one person's Saturn exactly conjoined the other's Mars (which also ruled their Ascendant). This creates a powerful bond that can feel like magnetic attraction – but it also shows where restriction and responsibility enter the relationship. These Saturn contacts often show where we're learning important life lessons through our partnerships. If you missed my video on Jojo Siwa and Chris Hughes and their synastry, where they have Saturn conjunct Mars, you can find it on my YouTube channel. 2 Quotes from Others"The meeting of two personalities is like the contact of two chemical substances: if there is any reaction, both are transformed." – Carl Jung "Relationships are laboratories of the spirit. They provide the heat, pressure, and acid test of our internal growth toward our highest human possibilities." – Elizabeth Lesser Coaching InsightYou don't need perfect planetary alignments to create a meaningful relationship – you need self-awareness about your patterns and willingness to grow beyond your comfort zone. The challenging aspects in synastry often highlight exactly where that growth wants to happen. 1 Question for YouWhen you think about your significant relationships (romantic or otherwise), can you identify a pattern where certain interactions consistently trigger emotional reactions? This could be pointing to an important planetary contact in your synastry – and an opportunity for self-understanding. Concluding ThoughtThe stars may map our tendencies, but our choices and consciousness determine how we express them. I believe the most fulfilling relationships aren't the ones with "perfect" synastry charts – they're the ones where both people use whatever planetary weather they're given to foster mutual growth and understanding. I'm rooting for your journey of relationship self-discovery, however your charts may align. I'll be in touch soon. All the best to you! |

Hello Reader! Did you catch the news? Back in September 2025, the U.S. government renamed the "Department of Defense" back to its original moniker: the Department of War. This was just six months after Neptune entered Aries for the first time since its last entry in 1862. On the surface, it’s just a label change. But to the astrology enthusiast, it’s a flashing red light confirming a massive energetic shift. For the last 84 years (since the 1940s), we’ve been operating under a Libra...
Hello Reader! I wanted to share something I’ve been building for my own practice that I think you’re going to love. If you’ve ever stared at a transit chart—like Transiting Saturn square Natal Moon—and struggled to turn those keywords into a clear, meaningful sentence, you are not alone. We all know the pieces: The Planet: The energy source. The House: Where it's happening. The Aspect: The action The Rulership: The outcome (the part almost everyone misses!) Connecting them all in your head...
Hello Reader! I hope you're doing well and having a great week. I know that it has been a long time since you've heard from me. Honestly, that long silence is part of the Saturn difficulties I touch upon in this note. I'm planning to be in touch with you more often as I continue to rebuild my life. Last month, I noticed something was happening with Theo Von when his videos after Charlie Kirk's death started circulating. He seemed extremely distressed and troubled. If you missed it, the video...
